Welcome to StayVila. By using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. About StayVila

StayVila is an online platform that connects guests with property owners, lodges, guesthouses, hotels, and accommodation providers across Botswana.

StayVila acts only as an intermediary platform and is not the owner or operator of listed properties unless explicitly stated.

2. User Accounts

Users may create accounts to:

  • Book accommodation

  • Submit listings

  • Communicate with hosts

Users are responsible for maintaining accurate information and protecting their login credentials.

3. Property Listings

Property owners are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate listing information

  • Uploading genuine property photos

  • Updating pricing and availability

  • Maintaining communication with guests

StayVila reserves the right to remove misleading or inappropriate listings.

4. Booking Requests

Bookings submitted through StayVila are requests until approved by the property owner or platform administrator.

StayVila does not guarantee booking availability until confirmation is provided.

5. Payments & Commission

Payments between guests and property owners may occur outside the StayVila platform.

Property owners may be charged commission fees for bookings generated through StayVila.

Failure to report bookings generated through StayVila may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

6. Verified Listings

Properties may receive a verified badge after submitting valid business documentation such as a Trade Licence.

Verification does not guarantee property quality or guest experience.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

  • Respect property rules

  • Provide accurate booking information

  • Avoid fraudulent or abusive behavior

8. Cancellations & Disputes

Cancellation policies may vary by property.

Guests should contact the property owner directly regarding cancellations or refunds.

StayVila may assist in resolving disputes but is not liable for outcomes between guests and property owners.

9. Limitation of Liability

StayVila is not responsible for:

  • Property conditions

  • Booking disputes

  • Payment disputes

  • Guest behavior

  • Loss, damage, or injury occurring during stays

Use of the platform is at the user’s own risk.

10. Changes to Terms

StayVila reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
